‘The true meaning of
healing is much more than improving physical health. Letting
go of your worries, trusting in a positive outlook, directing
your life towards benefiting others and improving and understanding
yourself is the path to inner peace. Developing these inner
qualities encourages good health and guarantees a happy life
whatever our physical or environmental conditions. Without
this kind of approach to life good physical health is almost
meaningless.
Nowadays
many people are seeking a more spiritual approach to life,
understanding that the material world can only provide a temporary
and superficial answer to our worries and desires. In fact
we know that excessive external/material progress can cause
many problems like stress, poor health and environmental issues.
Although I am not a spiritual teacher I have learned from
others, and a little from my own experience, that if we want
to find lasting health and happiness we have to begin an inner
journey.
All
these books contain a combination of techniques to improve
health and inner happiness, based on Buddhist wisdom, personal
experience and advice from friends and teachers.
